“Client” refers to any individual, business, or organization engaging Unicorn Web Solutions for services.
“Unicorn Web Solutions” or “We” refers to the service provider, Unicorn Web Solutions.
“Deliverables” refers to any website, application, or associated services provided by Unicorn Web Solutions.
We provide the following services:

Unicorn Web Solutions retains full control over backend access to websites hosted, developed, or maintained by us. We do not grant full backend or administrative access to clients or third parties by default. Requests for backend access will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, adhering to the following principles:
- If backend access is requested by a third-party agency or developer for quoting or evaluation purposes, access will not be granted for security and continuity reasons.
- Unicorn Web Solutions may, at its discretion, answer specific technical questions, provide relevant documentation, or arrange a Zoom or Teams call to facilitate the quoting process.
- If a client wishes to transfer website management to another agency or developer, a formal written request is required.
- Backend access will only be granted under the following conditions:
Unicorn Web Solutions is not liable for any data loss, security breaches, or technical issues caused by unauthorized access or third-party modifications.
- All invoices must be paid within the payment terms outlined in the invoice.
- Any overdue payments may result in suspension of services, including hosting, maintenance, or domain renewals.
- Clients with outstanding balances will not be eligible for backend access or project handovers until the balance is settled in full.
Upon full payment of all invoices, intellectual property rights to the website's frontend (design and content only) are transferred to the client. Unicorn Web Solutions retains intellectual property rights to code, any proprietary tools, plugins, or software used in the website unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Hosting services are provided under separate terms and conditions specific to the hosting provider (e.g., Umbraco Cloud).
- Hosting charges are non-refundable once paid.
- Clients wishing to terminate hosting services must provide 30 days' written notice before the next billing cycle.
Unicorn Web Solutions may integrate third-party tools, plugins, or services (e.g., payment gateways, analytics). We are not responsible for the functionality, security, or availability of these third-party services.
We respect your confidentiality and will not disclose sensitive information to unauthorized third parties. Similarly, clients are expected to treat any information, credentials, or documentation shared by Unicorn Web Solutions as confidential.
- Either party may terminate the service agreement with 30 days' written notice.
- If services are terminated, Unicorn Web Solutions will provide access to relevant files and documentation (excluding backend access) upon request, provided all outstanding invoices are paid.

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt resolution through mediation before pursuing legal action.
Unicorn Web Solutions reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Clients will be notified of significant changes.
